Túy Loan sits about 14km west of Da Nang, off the usual tourist route. The village is known locally for three things: a communal house built around 500 years ago, a long tradition of rice paper making, and a regional noodle dish called mì Quảng that earned Vietnamese national heritage status in 2022. This half-day tour covers all three at a relaxed pace, with time to actually do things rather than just watch.

What you'll do

Visit Đình Túy Loan, the village's communal house. The structure dates to the late 1500s and still hosts ancestral worship for the families who first settled here. Your guide walks you through how village life and folk beliefs shaped the building.
Spend time at a working rice paper kitchen. Watch a sheet form on hot fabric stretched over a charcoal fire, then try pouring one yourself. After it dries on bamboo racks outside, you grill it and eat it warm.
Walk through the village market and meet the people who live and work here. No staged demonstrations or set routes, just a normal weekday morning in a small Vietnamese village.
Sit down to mì Quảng at a family-run shop that has served the same recipe for decades. Turmeric-tinted noodles, peanuts, fresh herbs, a small amount of rich broth, and your choice of pork or chicken.

Group size capped at 8 people. Most days run with 2 to 6 guests, so it stays personal.
Comfortable shoes recommended. About 1km of walking on village paths and lanes.
Vegetarian mì Quảng available if you let us know 24 hours ahead.
The rice paper kitchen runs on charcoal, so the room is warm. Cold water is provided.
Best for travelers who want a real cultural half-day, not a polished show. Suitable for children over 8.

Booking confirmation. Your booking is confirmed once payment is processed and you receive the booking voucher by email. We will contact you the day before the tour to confirm hotel pickup time.

Cancellation by guest. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time, full refund. Cancellations between 24 and 12 hours before start, 50% refund. Cancellations less than 12 hours before start or no-shows, no refund.

Cancellation by operator. If we cancel due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

Late arrival. Pickup waits up to 15 minutes at your hotel. If you are not at the lobby and not contactable within that window, the tour proceeds and is treated as a no-show.

Children and minors. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the full duration of the tour. The minimum age is 8.

Photography. Your guide may take photos during the tour for use on our social media and listings. Let us know at the start if you prefer not to be photographed.

Conduct and safety. Please follow the guide's instructions inside the rice paper kitchen and at the communal house. Some surfaces and the charcoal area are hot. We are not liable for injuries caused by failure to follow safety guidance.

Health and dietary disclosure. You are responsible for telling us about allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility issues, or medical conditions before the tour. We will accommodate where possible but cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation in a working village kitchen.
